We Care About Your Spiritual Well Being

About Pastoral Care

Your spiritual community cares about you. We are here to walk with and support you in your pain and losses, and in your joys and triumphs. Anchored in the awareness that the Divine is with us in every situation and circumstance, we don’t try to remove your pain or fix your challenge. Instead, we provide a compassionate spiritual presence through prayer, hospital and home visits, and spiritual counseling.

We are living expressions of God’s love, and volunteers and staff are available in a variety of ways to support you in your spiritual, emotional, and health challenges.

Here to serve you

It doesn’t matter what church you go to, or if you go to any church at all. It doesn’t matter what you believe, or if you don’t believe anything at all. Our goal is to encourage you and build you up.

Health Challenges

When possible, the volunteer Friend in Deed (FID) team provides transportation to and from doctor’s appointments and treatments. They also provide meals and light errands on a short-term basis while you recover from an illness or hospital stay.

Let us know when you or a family member is in the hospital so the can visit and support you. Volunteers with the Extended Care Team are experienced prayer chaplains who provide emotional support through prayer and compassionate listening. They are not spiritual or professional counselors, nor are they caretakers.
