May we pray for you?
We are grateful for your prayers and would like to pray for you as well. If you need help with a special need in your life, we will be glad to pray about it with you
We faithfully pray for any specific needs you have shared with us. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray for you… and we know you are doing the same for us!
Here to serve you
It doesn’t matter what church you go to, or if you go to any church at all. It doesn’t matter what you believe, or if you don’t believe anything at all. Our goal is to encourage you and build you up.
When possible, the volunteer Friend in Deed (FID) team provides transportation to and from doctor’s appointments and treatments. They also provide meals and light errands on a short-term basis while you recover from an illness or hospital stay.
Let us know when you or a family member is in the hospital so the can visit and support you. Volunteers with the Extended Care Team are experienced prayer chaplains who provide emotional support through prayer and compassionate listening. They are not spiritual or professional counselors, nor are they caretakers.
Affirmative prayer is foundational to Unity. Trained volunteer Prayer Chaplains provide one-on-one confidential prayer after Sunday services and when requested. Members receive a monthly prayer support call. The Sacred Prayer Circle is a powerful prayer team that holds the highest level of consciousness in their private prayer practice for the prayer intentions placed in the prayer boxes.
The ministers provide spiritual counseling by appointment, and make hospital visits when requested.
Extended Care Team
The Extended Care Team is an extension of the volunteer Prayer Chaplain Program. These experienced former Prayer Chaplains receive additional training in compassionate listening, and are available to visit you while you are in the hospital or convalescing at home. Like the Prayer Chaplains, they also hold you in prayer and may continue supporting you through a lengthy illness or end of life.
They are not spiritual or professional counselors or caretakers.

There is no formal training to participate on this team and volunteers participate as their availability allows. You may join this volunteer at any time.
