Unity Church of the Triangle warmly welcomes families and their children to our thriving, diverse programs and special events. In addition to our Sunday school, we offer local lock-ins, regional retreats, cinema night, service and prosperity projects, parenting education and support, holiday gatherings, Christmas multi-age gala, youth choir, and more.
The Youth and Family Ministry’s primary purpose is to create an environment where parents, children, and teens explore their own innate Divinity through an experiential educational path. UCT incorporates the 5 unity principles/core beliefs and 12 powers in all areas of Youth and Family Ministries. Teachers and assistants are dedicated and committed each year, allowing the children to have the same lead teachers all year long. Our Goal The goals of the Youth Education program at UCT are many: Introducing children to Unity principles, instilling a desire to explore our spiritual paths, developing a community of families within UCT, and promoting key values such as compassion, love, service and diversity. Children’s Program Our Children’s Ministry Program provides a variety of activities for the children to experience practical application of Truth principles. Each Sunday the children’s activities focus on a lesson theme. The flow of a typical Sunday experience is as follows: At the 9:00 am service, child care is provided in the nursery. At the 11:00 am service, families begin in the sanctuary. All children and teens are honored and blessed by the ministers and congregation. - Ages 5-18 are escorted to the youth gathering site, where they partake in a mini Sunday service, and move into age groups for a full inspiring Unity lesson.
- Preschoolers are taken back to their classroom near the sanctuary for their Unity lesson.
- Ages 0-14 are picked up by parents at the end of service.
Parents are welcome to observe and participate in the classroom. - Through affirmative prayer and meditation I connect with God and bring out the good in my life.
- I do and give my best by living the Truth I know. I make a difference.
