Good Friday Service in Raleigh
A Sacred Evening of Reflection at Unity of the Triangle
Friday, April 3, 2026 | 5:30–6:15 PM
Sanctuary
In the Unity tradition, Good Friday Service is not about suffering, but about release, surrender, and the transformation that leads to new life. Through prayer, meditation, and reflective readings, we create space to let go of what no longer serves and open to the presence of the Divine within – no matter the circumstances that surround us.
This brief, 45-minute service offers a peaceful pause in your day—an opportunity to reconnect with your inner stillness and experience the healing power of spiritual awareness.
What to Expect:
- Prayer from Rev. Meemie Lohmueller
- Special readings from Unity’s interfaith minister, Rev. Tami Johns
- Rev. Michael Gadway delivers the Good Friday message
- Handwashing ceremony with Rev. Neusom Holmes
- Unity Music co-directors Tim Smith and Jay Wright deliver the perfect music for the occasion
Come as you are and allow this sacred time to prepare your heart and mind for Easter. Together, we honor the journey of transformation and awaken to the truth of renewal, hope, and the ever-present light within. Whether you are part of our community or visiting for the first time, you are invited to experience Unity’s positive, practical, and inclusive approach to spirituality, where all paths are honored and all are welcome.
