Taking Care of Unfinished Business
A 2-Part Life Planning Series for Clarity, Peace of Mind, and Love in Action
Planning for the future is an act of love. It is one of the ways we honor our lives, care for the people we love, and live with greater clarity, intention, compassion, and peace.
This two-part series invites you to reflect on your legacy, clarify your wishes, and take practical steps toward end-of-life and estate planning. Together, we will explore both the spiritual and practical dimensions of preparing for the future with wisdom, honesty, and heart.
Part 1: What is Your Legacy?
Tuesday, July 14
2:00–4:00 PM
Multipurpose Room
Facilitated by Holly Menard, RN / End-of-Life Doula
Awareness of our own mortality can help us live more fully. In this guided session with Unity’s own Holly Menard, participants reflect on the legacy of their lives, consider how they wish to be remembered, and clarify their end-of-life wishes.
Through thoughtful discussion and personal reflection, we will explore what matters most, how to communicate our values and preferences, and how preparing with intention can bring greater peace of mind.
Part 2: Thoughtful Estate Planning
Tuesday, August 11
2:00–4:00 PM
Multipurpose Room
Presented by Erin Edgar, Attorney
Estate planning is not only something we do for ourselves. It is a loving gift to those who will one day handle our affairs.
In this practical and compassionate presentation called “Love in Action”, attorney Erin Edgar shares the legal aspects of estate planning, including how thoughtful life planning preparation can provide peace of mind, protection, and legacy for you and your loved ones through every stage of life. Erin is a new member and prayer chaplain at Unity of the Triangle.
