There are many differences in our world today that can create division, and it’s easy to fall into the habit of judging others based on those differences. Yet despite our variation in background, beliefs, identity, and outward expression, we are all connected to the same Divine Source. One light shining through many lamps. When we choose to connect with the Divine within ourselves, recognize it in others, and act with understanding, kindness, and love, we begin to create unity in a divided world. True unity is not about being the same, but about honoring that each person expresses the same sacred presence in their own unique way. Through reflection, personal story, and the idea of a “lamp check,” One Light, Many Lamps challenges us to stop dimming ourselves and others through comparison and disconnection and instead remember that judgment separates us while awareness of our shared humanity brings us back together.
