World Day of Prayer 2026: Love Is Alive
Join Unity of the Triangle and Unity communities around the world for World Day of Prayer, a sacred 24-hours of stillness, and praying for others through a shared spiritual intention.
This year’s theme is LOVE IS ALIVE, inviting us to remember that divine love is present, active, and moving through us—even in times of uncertainty and change.

Opening Ceremony: Creating Sacred Space Together
Wednesday, September 9, 2026 | 7:00–8:00 p.m.
We begin World Day of Prayer with a special Opening Ceremony at Unity of the Triangle.
Together, we will center ourselves in prayer, reflection, and spiritual connection as we create sacred space for the 24 hours ahead. This gathering sets the intention for our prayer vigil and reminds us that we are part of something much larger—a worldwide spiritual community joining together in faith, love, and prayer.
Led by Rev. Meemie Lohmueller and the Unity Prayer Chaplains, supported by the Unity Choir. Expect a reverent and contemplative service.
Come as you are and help us begin these sacred 24 hours in a consciousness of love, while we hold others in prayer.
24-Hour Silent Prayer Vigil
September 9 at 8:00 p.m. through September 10 at 8:00 p.m.
Following the Opening Ceremony, our 24-Hour Silent Prayer Vigil begins.
For one full day, members and friends of Unity of the Triangle are invited to join people around the world in silent prayer for others, holding a higher consciousness.
The vigil is available both in person and online, making it possible to participate wherever you are.
Our intention is to have at least two people holding prayer during every one-hour period of the vigil—including the overnight hours.
You do not need special training or experience. Simply bring your presence, your willingness, and your heart.

Sign up for a one-hour prayer time that works for you. During that hour, you are invited to become still, hold our World Day of Prayer affirmation in your heart, and join thousands of others in a shared consciousness of divine love.

Whether you join us from the Unity of the Triangle campus or from the quiet of your own home, your presence matters.
Together, hour by hour, we create an unbroken circle of prayer.

World Day of Prayer is an opportunity to move beyond simply asking for something in prayer and into the experience of being prayer—resting in the presence of the Divine and remembering the love, wisdom, strength, and faith already within us.
For 24 hours, we choose to hold that awareness together.
We affirm that love is alive in us. Love is alive in our community. Love is alive in our world.
And from that consciousness, we move forward.
