Tami Johns has begun attending One Spirit Interfaith Seminary and as part of her studies, she will be exploring and learning about world religions. Unity has long held that are universal truths in the many faith traditions and spiritual paths.
Tami will be hosting 45-minute informational and discussion sessions on different world religions with a focus on one per month. The sessions will take place on the third Sunday of each month at 10:00 am, on the upper level in the conference room.
The sessions will be designed as an overview with a description of the highlighted religion and an introduction to a related spiritual practice.
The focus for each month is as follows:
- October : Hinduism
- November: Buddhism
- December: Judaism
- January: Roman Catholicism and Protestant Christianity
- February: Islam
- March: Modern Day Spiritualities: A Course in Miracles
- April: Indigenous Religions (Africa and North America)
