DESCRIPTION:How would you like to express your musical talent? That’s what happens with Open Mic Night\, every first Thursday of the month at 7 pm. There’s talent\, creativity\, emotion\, connection\, courage\, and fun! All are welcome to sing\, play – or just enjoy the music! \nThere are two ways you can participate\nIN-PERSON in the Fellowship Hall\nThere will be a sign-up sheet available on Thursday – everyone is invited to select a song to play/sing or accompany others. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Unity will provide a PA with inputs for instruments and USB as well as microphones\, so individuals can choose to use instruments\, play solo\, or sing along to recorded music. \nVIA PRE-RECORDED VIDEO\nSend a video recording of your performance to the unityavteam@unitytriangle.org by the Sunday before the third Thursday. Recording will be played during on site but will not be streamed. \nYour file will likely be too large for emailing\, so you’ll need to send it another way. People have had good results with wetransfer.com\, a free service. DESCRIPTION:After checking with the Unity Open Mic Weather Department\, we have concluded that this coming Thursday evening will be perfect for the first Open Mic Night in 2026.  Yes\, despite the cold wintry weather over the last couple of weeks\, things will be heating up in the Fellowship Hall on Thursday when we’ll come together for some good music\, tasty snacks and drinks\, and a great evening of talent and fun. \nThere’s a variety of music planned for the evening — bluegrass\, old standards\, folk rock\, R&B\, and more. We have some people who will be performing for the first time\, and they’ll need your support and maybe even your voices. Don’t let them down. 😁 \nIn case you need a reminder\, if your performance includes a background track\, don’t forget to send the track/file or a link (e.g.\, a YouTube link) to Dan at danwilk44@gmail.com. \nSo\, get ready for a “hot” time on Thursday evening starting at 7 pm. DESCRIPTION:How would you like to express your musical talent? That’s what happens with Open Mic Night\, every first Thursday of the month at 7 pm. There’s talent\, creativity\, emotion\, connection\, courage\, and fun! All are welcome to sing\, play – or just enjoy the music! \nThere are two ways you can participate\nIN-PERSON in the Fellowship Hall\nThere will be a sign-up sheet available on Thursday – everyone is invited to select a song to play/sing or accompany others. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Unity will provide a PA with inputs for instruments and USB as well as microphones\, so individuals can choose to use instruments\, play solo\, or sing along to recorded music. \nVIA PRE-RECORDED VIDEO\nSend a video recording of your performance to the unityavteam@unitytriangle.org by the Sunday before the third Thursday. Recording will be played during on site but will not be streamed. \nYour file will likely be too large for emailing\, so you’ll need to send it another way. People have had good results with wetransfer.com\, a free service.
