Tami Johns & The Unity Band\n\nThere are many differences in our world today that can create division\, and it’s easy to fall into the habit of judging others based on those differences. Yet despite our variation in background\, beliefs\, identity\, and outward expression\, we are all connected to the same Divine Source. One light shining through many lamps. When we choose to connect with the Divine within ourselves\, recognize it in others\, and act with understanding\, kindness\, and love\, we begin to create unity in a divided world. True unity is not about being the same\, but about honoring that each person expresses the same sacred presence in their own unique way. The Unity Choir will lead powerful\, heart-opening music that celebrates the spirit of renewal\, hope\, and spiritual awakening. \nMusic is an essential part of the Unity Sunday Experience\, helping create a vibrant atmosphere of celebration and connection. \nA Unity Tradition — The Easter Bonnet Parade\n \nCelebrate with Creativity and Joy\nWear your most festive hat and join in the fun of our Easter Bonnet Parade. This beloved tradition invites people of all ages to express creativity and joy as we celebrate the beauty and playfulness of the Easter season. Men\, you can wear your ‘Easter bonnets\,’ too! \nElegant\, whimsical\, or delightfully over-the-top—every bonnet is welcome. \nEaster Egg Hunt\n \nFamilies are warmly welcomed at Unity of the Triangle. During service\, the kids are sent into the Easter Egg Hunt by age group. The teens do their hunt blindfolded! And there’s a golden egg hidden somewhere with a big prize! Big fun awaits! \nCommunity Potluck\nStay and Connect\nFollowing the Easter service\, stay and enjoy food and community during a shared Easter Potluck in the Fellowship Hall. Unity of the Triangle is known for its warm\, welcoming community where newcomers quickly feel at home. \nContributing to the Potluck\nPlease bring your fully prepared dish to the Fellowship Hall between 10:15 and 11:00 am. If possible\, bring your dish in a disposable container. The church has plenty of serving utensils\, so no need to bring any. If you do use a non-disposable dish\, please label the bottom with your name. Also\, include a card with the name of your dish and any dietary notes (for example\, “contains nuts\, vegan\, gluten free”). A volunteer will be at the door to receive and stage your dish. Because only four volunteers can be in the kitchen\, please bring dishes ready to serve. We can keep items warm or cold\, but we’re not able to do additional preparation\, and there won’t be outlets available for crockpots. Thank you for being part of the Easter Potluck and for sharing your favorite dishes with our community! This month features guest speaker\, Tia Redman with an informative\, creative\, and fun as we explore how to find the Goddess within. Before the time of Jesus we still celebrated Easter\, only instead of celebrating a person\, we celebrated the return of spring. We will be diving into the celebration of the core values that the season of spring brings such as fertility\, rebirth\, and the dawn of new life. Taking inspiration from the goddess Eostre\, the mother of spring\, Tia shows us how to to find ways to truly love ourselves\, our bodies\, and the women around us. \nSisters\, bring a younger friend\, and a journal to capture your insights and reflect on deep\, meaningful questions. \nWho is Tia Redman?\n \n  \nTia is the Youth Director at Unity of the Triangle. She was raised in Unity and graduated from the Y.O.U program in 2016\, originally from the Delray Beach\, FL\, chapter. After graduating\, she moved to Orlando to pursue her dreams of working at Disney World and Universal Studios\, as well as receiving her degree in dance and the performing arts. Today she continues her journey in the circus arts while also raising her daughter. She is excited to lead the Unity of the Triangle Youth Ministry that celebrates every young person as a unique\, creative expression of the divine. \nWhat is Sisterhood Saturday?\nSisterhood Saturday is an interactive women’s ministry led by Unity’s Interfaith minister Rev. As enslaved people struggled through life on plantations\, they continued their traditional use of music and instruments.
