DESCRIPTION:What is Reiki Healing?\nReiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low\, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress\, and if it is high\, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. \nThe word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.” \nSunday Reiki Sessions for Congregants!\nAre you feeling out of balance or stressed? To support the spiritual growth of our congregation\, we are excited to offer Reiki energy healing to our community. Unity of the Triangle is blessed to have many Reiki healers in our congregation. They will be offering 15-minute Reiki Healing chair sessions once a month for the congregation on the third Sunday of every month in the Meditation Room upstairs. Sign up is required and will be available day-of at the Welcome Desk in the lobby before Sunday service. These sessions will be popular!
