Please read these provisions carefully, as they create a legal agreement. Your use of our website constitutes your acceptance of our privacy policy and the terms and conditions stated below. If you do not agree to the policy or these terms and conditions, you do not have permission to use the website.

This privacy policy applies only to information we collect through our website and does not apply to our collection of information from other sources. Depending on your activities when visiting our website, you may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions.

Types of information collected

Our website collects different types of information from and about you, either directly from you when you provide it to us, or automatically as you navigate through the site.

  • Like most website operators, Unity of the Triangle collects non-personally identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use our website. From time to time, we may release non-personally identifying information in the aggregate—for example, by publishing a report on trends in the usage of our website. Non-personally identifying information is owned exclusively by Unity of the Triangle and may be used as we see fit in accordance with the law.
  •  Our site uses cookies and web log files to track site usage. A cookie is a tiny data file that resides on your computer that allows us to recognize you when you return to the site using the same computer and web browser. Cookie and log file data is used to customize your experience on the site. If you do not want information to be collected through the use of cookies, your browser allows you to deny or accept the use of cookies. You can choose to disable cookies or allow your browser to notify you when a cookie is being sent, but this may prevent you from using certain features of the site.
  • In using the website, you may provide, and we may collect, personally identifying information such as your name, postal and email addresses, and telephone numbers. The amount and type of information we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. If you email us, post messages, complete online forms, or provide other information in your interactions with us, we may collect the information you provide. Certain information may not identify you when standing alone but may become identifying when combined with other information. Whether you provide this information is up to you, but in many instances this kind of information is necessary for you to take advantage of a benefit we are offering or access certain content on our website.

Please be aware, however, that there may be delays in notification while we attempt to determine the scope of the breach, restore reasonable integrity to the system, and cooperate with law enforcement in any criminal investigation. From time to time we evaluate new technology for protecting information and, when appropriate, we upgrade our information security systems.
