Meet people who share your spiritual curiosity. Join a community group tailored to your stage of life or interests. Get reacquainted with being social! Have some fun! Unity’s Spiritual Small Groups gather regularly, in-person or virtually, to share experiences, find inspiration, expand our spiritual growth, community service, personal transformation, and overall well-being. Unity for Humanity | Raleigh Social Justice Group
A spiritual social justice group created to engage our Raleigh community in meaningful dialogue, compassionate action, and consciousness-raising around issues that affect our shared humanity. Opportunities to serve on social topic based committees.

Events
Unity Women of Color
Unity Women of Color is a group of African American women who come together to support one another on our spiritual journey, engage in informative conversations, gather socially and participate in outreach opportunities. Leader Tami Johns.

The group meets the second Sunday of the month 12:30-2pm.
Worthy | LGBTQ+ & Allies
Worthy is a group that is for the LGBTQ+ community, Allies, and Advocates. We share common interests in Faith, Identity, Support, Service & Social Engagement. An inclusive, safe space for all people to see themselves as dynamic expressions of God! Leader Quincy Garbutt and Steering Committee.

Meets the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 in the Multipurpose Room.
Power of Eight Healing Circle
In the book The Power of Eight, Lynne McTaggart, an expert on the science of spirituality, reveals her remarkable findings from ten years of experiments about how group intention can heal our lives—and change the world for the better. Drawing on hundreds of case studies, The Power of Eight provides solid evidence showing that there is such a thing as a collective consciousness. The purpose of Unity of the Triangle’s Power of Eight Healing Circle is to harness the miraculous energies of our Divine nature of intention, from our hearts to
help heal others, your life and the world.

Unity’s Power of Eight Healing Circle meets every Sunday at 12:30 in the Green Room inside the sanctuary right side of the stage.

Veterans
The group brings veterans from all branches together with the intention of connection with others who have served and to discuss spiritual topics. All veterans from the community are welcome. You do not need to attend Unity of the Triangle to join.

Unity’s Veterans group meets the 3rd Sundays of the month at 12:30.
Men’s Ministry
This group’s purpose is bringing men together for friendship, spiritual growth, support, community service and knowledge building. They host guest speakers, a men’s breakfast, and other events quarterly. Check the calendar for specific dates.
Spirit Sisters
Sponsors social gatherings and events for women. Leader Holly Behr.

NextGen Unity (NGU) | Young Adults
CALLING YOUNG ADULTS SEEKING SPIRITUALITY AND ACTIVISM! Next Generation of Unity (NGU) is a ministry built by and for young adults growing throughout the Unity movement nationwide. NGU of the Triangle is a growing small group for anyone aged 18-40, and is led by Unity of the Triangle Youth Director, Tia Redman.

Meetings every third Sunday after church at 12:30.
Silver Circle | Seniors Positively Aging!
Silver Circle is an intentional caring community of Unity-minded people who want to enjoy the aging process together and live our best lives! You’ll mostly find folks over 60 here, but this group is open to everyone who is aging — all of us! Silver Circle activities include classes for learning things we are interested in, building community, and having fun gatherings. Silver Circle is an ongoing organization open to new adventures and activities. All are welcome! Leader Kayelilly Middleton and Planning Team.

Meets 4th Sunday of the month from 10:00-10:45 AM in the multipurpose room and hosts a monthly Game Day on the fourth Tuesdays.
Gen X | Looking for a Leader!
We want you to know you are not the forgotten generation to us! Sandwiched between Baby Boomers and Millennials, Gen X often gets lost. If you’re looking for community of other people born between 1965-1980 who might share life experiences, this group is forming now and looking for a leader. Is it you?

Men’s Dialogue Group
The Unity Men’s Group provides a forum for discussion, connection, and education regarding spiritual growth and other important topics. The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month, 5:30 – 700pm on zoom. Contact Leader David Johnson (djohnson@e3ventures.com) to join.
A Course of Love | A Course in Miracles | Book Club
Looking for personal transformation? This group meets to discuss these two books / ways of living a transformed life. The ACIM/ACIL group meets every Thursday.
Reiki
Are you a Reiki practitioner? Join this group to support this type of healing work and those who provide it. Opportunities to provide Reiki sessions to congregants who are interested in using Reiki to promote overall well-being. Leader Patra Sukkasem.

Are You Looking For A Spiritual Small Group Near Raleigh, Cary, or Durham?

Find welcoming spiritual small groups in the Raleigh area where you can build meaningful friendships, deepen your spiritual practice, and experience authentic community. We have people participating from all over the Triangle. Our church at 5570 Munford Road, off Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh is easily accessible. Whether you’re new to Unity, exploring New Thought spirituality, or simply looking for people who share your values, there’s a place for you.

What Happens at a Small Group?

Our small groups are participant led with a leader or co-leader. Meetups happen at different times of the week and locations, depending on the group. Some gatherings happen at the church in Raleigh.

Do I Have To Attend Sunday Services?

No, but we would love for you to! Some group gatherings happen before or after Sunday church services in at our Raleigh location. You’re welcome to attend the group and not attend church.

Are Your Small Groups Open to Everyone?

Yes! Unity’s small groups welcome anyone from the community to attend. Contact info on how to join is listed with each small group on this page.

At Unity of the Triangle, Tami brings together people from all backgrounds through small groups based on life experiences and interests to promote connection and belonging. She also leads Unity in the Community, developing community service initiatives to increase member engagement through volunteering and service projects.

We’re continually looking for ways to provide connection, conversation, spiritual growth and belonging through our small groups. I’d love to talk to you about your ideas and requests.
