Volunteering is a wonderful way to take part in the life of the congregation and the larger community. It is how we remind ourselves and others that we are not alone. Join your heart with ours and explore the best ways to share your time, talents, and treasure.
From greeting you at the front door on Sundays, getting coffee and treats ready in the Fellowship Hall, decorating, Praying 1:1 with you, singing beautiful melodies, leading groups, teaching our youth, livestreaming our services and so.much.more! It truly takes a village! As we gear up for the upcoming Fall events at Unity of the Triangle, there will also be a need for volunteers to lend a helping hand in one or more ways.

Welcome Team
The Welcome Team and Greeters would be happy to have a few more greeters to welcome guests and congregants as they arrive on Sundays.
The position includes arriving at 10:30 am, and greeting people as they arrive, taking notice if someone is new, answering any questions they may have, asking how they found us, giving them a guest information card, and a flyer of events, inviting them to the Fellowship Hall after the service and before the service if they arrive early, and introducing them to others! Also, being sure to offer them a pen, and tell or show them where they can put their completed guest information card.
The estimated time is 30 minutes.
We need someone who is able to lift, carry and place the Unity sandwich board sign at the intersection of Munford at Glenwood before Sunday services, it can be done early Sunday morning, and to pick it up and return it to its home outside the front doors after Sunday services.
In addition to Sunday’s we have special events coming up where a few extra hands are needed:
- Thanksgiving and Christmas Day Potluck
- Christmas Decoration
- Other special events

Youth & Family Ministry
The Youth & Family Ministry is always looking for volunteers for its various events throughout the year and to help teach our students. For details on volunteering with the Youth & Family Ministry contact B.J. Davis.
AV Team
Action! Our AV team creates slides for Sunday services and video promos. They also manage the screens, sound, streaming, and recording for Sunday services and special events. Our team is welcoming volunteers to assist in the livestreaming of our Sunday Services. To join or more information, email David Johnson.
Adult Choir
The Unity adult choir welcomes everyone who enjoys singing, from new singers to professionals. They rehearse on Wednesday nights at 7 pm and perform at two Sunday services each month as well as at special services and in the upcoming Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 10th.
To take part, simply join us at a Wednesday night rehearsal or contact Tim Smith or Jay Wright, our directors.
Marketing Team
Our savvy marketing team, helps promote Unity and its events through social media, develop and distribute marketing materials and help monitor and welcome online congregants during the Sunday service livestream.

Part of the marketing team tasks involves taking photos of our Sunday services and special events that happen throughout the year.
Requirements: Must know how to use a DSL camera. A Nikon DSLR camera can be provided or you may use your own if you prefer.
