Caitlin Cary is a Raleigh, NC-based textile artist and musician known for her innovative and intricate sewn fabric collages, which she calls Needleprints. Cary crafts each Needleprint exclusively from repurposed fabrics, primarily cast-offs from the upholstery/interior design industry.
Nancy Meadows Taylor paints with watercolor and oil focusing on floral subjects and water patterns. She paints in a realism style with a close focus view that gives her work an abstract quality. Nancy is a North Carolina native who lives in Raleigh.
Catherine C. Martin created her first oil painting at age 10. She describes her art as “a very personal experience that comes from the soul and reflects both sorrow and joy in life.” Her paintings are spontaneous, vibrant with color, and accentuated with extreme value. Catherine and her family live in Raleigh.
Ten percent of all sales will be donated to Unity of the Triangle. The show will display in the Fellowship hall through the week of October 13.
