Ways to Give

Monetary Contributions

Financial gifts in the form of cash and checks may be made at Sunday services or by stopping by the church office during business hours. We also have iPads in the lobby and outside classrooms that accept credit and debit cards, and smartphones can be used to text contributions.

  • By Mail

If you want to mail your contribution, please make your check payable to Unity of the Triangle and mail to:

    Unity of the Triangle
    5570 Munford Road
    Raleigh, NC 27612

  • By Bank Transfer, Credit Card, or Debit Card

We accept contributions by bank transfer, credit card, and debit card in the lobby and outside classrooms and through this link.

  • By Text

You can use your smartphone to text your contribution as follows:

    1. Text (919) 948-1234
    2. Type in the $ sign and amount
    3. Press send
    4. First time setup will require you to enter your credit card information

Automatic Giving

You may contribute by arranging for your credit cards or checking accounts to be debited each month. Automatic giving is easy to set up. Simply click here or call the church office, (919) 832-8324, or email Chantée Privette at chantee.privette@unitytriangle.org and Mary Graham at mary.graham@unitytriangle.org Your personal banking information will be secure and will not be shared with third parties. Automatic giving not only helps you remember your contribution; it also helps the church plan income and expenses more efficiently throughout the year. Also:

  • It’s easy to adjust. You may update or change your giving at any time by emailing us.
  • It’s flexible. Your gift can be deducted from your bank account or charged to your credit card once a month, twice a month, each week, or on any date you specify.

Securities and Property

Gifts of appreciated stocks and securities are a great way to support the church, potentially reduce tax liability for capital gains, and receive a deduction for the fair market value of your gift at the time of transfer. A Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from your retirement account may be made directly by your broker to the church without incurring ordinary income tax. The church also accepts donations of real and personal property — houses, land, cars, boats, etc. Consult your financial advisor or attorney for tax advice and information regarding your specific situation. The church office, (919) 832-8324, can provide the information you or your broker will need to facilitate these transfers.

Legacy Gifts

You may wish to leave a legacy by including Unity in your estate plan—for example, by making a bequest in your will or by designating Unity of the Triangle as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, insurance policy, or donor-directed charitable trust. Please contact the office at (919) 832-8324, with any questions and to let us know if you have included Unity in your estate plan.
