What Should I Bring to the Food Drive?
Food Items:
- Pantry staples
- Canned soups and vegetables with pop-tops
- Canned Kid meals (ravioli, spaghettios, etc) with pop-tops
- Kid Juice boxes
- Canned chicken & tuna with pop-tops
- Pasta Sauce
- Pasta
Non-Food Items:
- Paper Towels
- Toilet Paper
- Soaps/shower gel
- Toothbrush/toothpaste
- Bottled Water
- Cleaners
- Diapers
- Wipes
- Formula
One in Six People Facing Food Insecurity in Raleigh
The Food Bank Network for Raleigh says 258,050 individuals are facing hunger. In light of people having limited or delayed access to government food benefits, Unity of the Triangle is partnering with a local food pantry for this special food drive.
Where will the food from the food drive go?
Unity of the Triangle is partnering with the good folks at Baptist Grove Church. Their Life Harvest Food Pantry provides food, hygiene, and household items to people in need in our community.
