Summer Solstice: Celebration of Light
We’ll celebrate the longest day of the year, June 20th, with a joyful combination
of chanting & singing, meditations on light, and waltzing with ribbons
around the maypole.
What is the spiritual significance of Summer Solstice?
The Summer Solstice is a time of heightened spiritual significance in many cultures, symbolizing the peak of the sun’s power and a transition point in the year. It’s often viewed as a time of rebirth, abundance, and the triumph of light over darkness, with various traditions associating it with themes of growth, healing, and manifestation.
At Unity, we honor the traditions of many cultures. We welcome all to celebrate this special night!
