Understanding Karma More Deeply
What does karma mean to us and how does it affect the way we perceive God, our relationships, and our worldly experiences? Are we fated to experience our karma, or do we have a choice in how our life unfolds?
What is Karma?
In its most fundamental sense, karma, derived from Sanskrit, means action or deed. It’s a concept rooted in Indian religions like Hinduism and Buddhism, where it signifies a principle of cause and effect. Essentially, karma suggests that every action, intention, or thought has a consequence, influencing future experiences, whether in this life or subsequent rebirths.
